I am interested in finding more people that are on the same page as Germany when it comes to green construction and Development

I am in interested in how other countries such as Germany and Switzerland have such a great understanding of the global human responsibility. For example when I was in Switzerland there was regulations on the amount of garbage you produced. The way they monitored this was by weighing all the garbage and everyone had to pay a premium for producing garbage. The more your garbage weighed the more you had to pay for it. 

This ideal makes since to me. People should be held responsible for the garbage the produce. People should have pride for who they are and for were they live,and should comprehend that you don't just live in your house you live on a planet. 

Green developments are becoming allot more prominent and with the new administration this should expand and a greater pace. 

Please let me know what you know about green development. I am looking to put together a team of Engineers and Architects to take the East Cost by storm. 

I am particularly interested in geothermal, wind and solar energies.
